End-of-Life Doula Training
Chanie Mandel is the creator and teacher of the Soulful Passage curriculum, which trains Jewish women to support individuals facing serious illness and the end of life, as well as their families. Drawing on her background and decades of experience as a birth doula, life coach, and end-of-life doula, Chanie guides students in providing compassionate, meaningful care during life’s most vulnerable moments.
Through reflective exercises and thoughtful conversations, she invites participants to deepen their understanding of mortality while developing the emotional and practical skills needed to support others with sensitivity and presence.
Over the past three years, Chanie has taught six cohorts of students from diverse backgrounds and locations, cultivating a growing international movement committed to transforming how our community approaches death, dying, and end-of-life care.
The Soulful Passage curriculum has been reviewed by Rav Asher Weiss, Rabbi Mordechai Willig, and Rebbetzin Leah Kohn.
